Timothy LaDucer
Timothy LaDucer
4-year term
Born and raised in Chester, Connecticut, Tim LaDucer has called East Lyme home since 2013, where he lives with his wife and two children. He is an incumbent on the Town’s Planning Commission and has served diligently as an Alternate there since 2021. In this role, Tim has supported the adoption and application of regulations to advance responsible planning and thoughtful growth for our community. A highlight of his service on the Commission was his work as a member of the Affordable Housing Plan Subcommittee that partnered with Goman and York to create the Town’s Affordable Housing Plan in 2022.
Tim currently works as a Service Consultant for Colonial Automobile in New London. He received his training at New England Institute of Technology and is now pursuing accreditation in Information Technology. Tim also serves as an ordained Deacon at the Harvest Christian Fellowship in Niantic, where he leads worship and helps manage finances. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, golfing, gardening, and mountain biking.
Interestingly, Tim is a fourth-generation public servant. His great grandfather served in the Connecticut Senate and his grandfather and mother have served in local government.
Tim is running for a seat on the Planning Commission because he cares deeply about East Lyme’s future. He is willing to understand and take on difficult issues that the Commission may face and is committed to making sure that East Lyme is a great place to live, raise a family, and call home. He hopes he can count on your vote in this upcoming municipal election.
